What Does a Training Coordinator Do?

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and update ads for Behavioural Interventionists (BIs) as needed, and post in relevant locations/web sites
  • Field calls from BI candidates
  • Manage BI requests
  • Organize and assist in BI information sessions held twice monthly, where BI applicants will be provided with information about being a BI as well as undergo a preliminary interview/screening process
  • Perform reference checks on all potential BIs
  • Contact Parents/Program Supervisors/Behaviour Consultants with regard to BI candidates
  • Match and forward BI candidates with/to families
  • Assist with scheduling and organization of Family Centred Practices Group Two-day Training Workshop for Behavioural Interventionists
  • Assist with scheduling and organization of Behavioural Parenting Workshop Series
  • Collaborate with and report to Clinical Director
